Funga Alafia = T sings song, asks st. what kinds of words they hear, T describes background of song, st. learn song through call and response, T asks st. “Which words or word parts sound like they last the longest?”, st. should decode that second half of second “ashay” is the long part, T introduces that this longer sounding note is a half note, st. clap steady beat of song while singing, T asks “How many claps did you get on “shay”?”, st. should decode that half note is worth 2 beats
